When is the UCAT sat?

In the summer before you apply — typically July to September — with the result forming part of your autumn UCAS application.

Do you teach all five sections?

Yes — Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning and Situational Judgement, with timed practice on each.

Is this instead of BMAT?

Yes — BMAT no longer runs (discontinued after 2024). UCAT is now the admissions test for medicine and dentistry across nearly all UK medical schools.

How long does preparation take?

Most students benefit from a few months of focused preparation, starting lighter in Year 12 and intensifying in Year 13.
