From Three Learners to a Household Name in East London

Excel Tutors was founded in 2010 on a simple belief: every child is unique, and deserves teaching shaped around their individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all syllabus. We began with just three learners.

Through dedication, word of mouth and a genuine commitment to results, we grew, branch by branch, into one of East London's most trusted tuition centres, with 800+ registered students and 70+ subject specialists today. We became a household name across Tower Hamlets and Newham not by chance, but by doing the fundamentals properly: small classes, qualified teachers, honest progress reporting and an unwavering focus on each child's learning journey.

Our mission: to identify each child's strengths and challenges through assessment, design bespoke learning support, track progress over time and adapt our teaching, develop critical thinking and independent learning, and nurture a positive attitude to study.

Our vision: to grow into a learning centre for young people across London and its neighbouring boroughs, so our tried-and-tested, tailored teaching is within reach of every learner who needs support to excel.
