How we get these results

Our results aren't luck — they're the product of small classes (max four), examiner-led teaching, individual learning plans and relentless mock practice. We publish verified outcomes only: our latest GCSE, A-Level and 11+ figures are confirmed each year and shared honestly, with the year attached.

Behind every grade is a journey. Here are some of our students, in their own words.

I have been at Excel from a very young age, and the tutors here have guided me so much — including through my 11+ and my GCSEs. In the critical period of Year 11 I was given all the revision resources I needed, and my tutors helped me clear up every doubt. I hope to succeed in my A-Levels too, with Excel.

Without the help of the amazing tutors I had at Excel, my GCSE results would not have been possible. I would strongly recommend Excel Tutors for anyone who wants to do well in their studies.

Excel Tutors made such a difference for me in A-Level Psychology. The tutors take the time to properly explain things instead of just moving on, and the help with essay structure and exam technique has boosted my confidence — I've definitely seen my grades improve.

Communication is responsive, and sitting mock exams for predicted grades was a very positive experience — minimal disruption, often a room to myself. Very good value for resits compared with other private exam centres in London.

My two children attend here. We've just come from Bangladesh, and my children have improved — especially English grammar, speaking and handwriting. I am very happy with them.

Before, I wasn't great at comprehension and English, but now it's easier to understand the question and the text. I feel confident I can get into the grammar school I've chosen.
