Our Whitechapel centre at 161–163 Commercial Road (E1 2DA) is where Excel Tutors began in 2010, and it remains our main branch and the hub of everything we do. Right in the heart of Tower Hamlets, it serves families across Whitechapel, Stepney Green, Mile End, Shadwell, Bethnal Green and Bow.
This is also our most complete site: alongside tuition from Year 3 to A-Level, Whitechapel houses our on-site science laboratory and our JCQ-approved private exam centre (Centre 10488) — so students can be taught, sit their mocks, complete science practicals and take their real exams, all in one place. As at every branch, classes are capped at four, lessons run for two hours, and every child starts with a free personalised assessment.
